OB and Teaching Tracks

While the majority of our graduates go on to practice OB, some prefer to leave this aspect of family medicine out of their practice. As a result, residents can choose between OB and Teaching Tracks at the end of their first year.

OB track residents complete six required OB blocks and have the opportunity to go to San Jose, CA. Teaching Track residents complete four OB blocks and spend two extra blocks supervising and assisting interns on the inpatient medical team.
