MEDICATION REFILL POLICY:Cascades East follows a REFILL IN PERSON policy. This means that your medications will be refilled during your appointments. Your provider will give the appropriate number of refills to last until your next needed appointment. This eliminates faxing and calling prescriptions into pharmacies, which may lead to medication errors. When you pick up your last refill from the pharmacy, it is time to call for an appointment with your doctor. Please bring all your medications to each doctor appointment as this assists us in providing your care.
PHONE CALLS:If you need to reach your doctor, simply call the clinic number (541) 274-6733. The front desk will forward a message to your health care team who will respond to your call within 48 hours. It is helpful to include alternate telephone numbers and best times to reach you as part of your message.If you need medical attention after clinic hours, simply call the regular clinic line and give the operator your name, telephone number and nature of your illness. The on call doctor will return your call as soon as possible. Prescriptions will not be filled on weekends or after regular clinic hours on weekdays. IN CASE OF EMERGENCY ALWAYS CALL 911 Our office is a family practice clinic, which also serves as a family medicine teaching center. We also offer a WALK-IN CLINIC daily. This is designed for medical needs that arise and need to be handled the same day. There will be only one doctor scheduled to handle walk-in care while the other doctors are seeing scheduled appointments. Wait times will increase when walk-in clinic becomes full. Walk-in patients are seen according to urgency and not necessarily on a first come first serve basis. You may receive a survey in the mail following your visit. It is helpful in our process of improving ways to meet your needs if you take time to fill out the short survey and return it. Thank you in advance for completing it. |
